Rolling Stones é um daqueles grupos que irá aparecer aqui muitas vezes, pelo menos no que me diz respeito. Com quase 50 anos de carreira e embora a base tenha sido sempre o rock'n roll/blues, abordaram por diversas vezes outras sonoridades, como foi o caso desta Undercover Of The Night, onde com um um groove de rock que nos põe a bater o pé, junta-se um feeling ligeiramente disco que se torna uma mistura irresistível. Embora tenha sido o primeiro single do álbum, passou um pouco ao lado do público em geral talvez pela sua letra política (que é uma das principais razões pela qual eu a escolho para figurar aqui - o vídeo chegou a ser censurado) que retrata situações que ainda hoje são actuais sendo uma delas o rapto de pessoas por parte de guerrilhas rebeldes da América Central e América do Sul - sobretudo ligadas ao tráfico de droga - para depois exigir resgates exorbitantes ao governo ou às suas famílias. Eu tenho um fraco por canções de protesto ou de alto teor político e neste caso tem-se o brinde de a música ser completamente groovie.
